Fitness is achieved when the mind and the body are in equilibrium. It is very essential to have mental clarity, positive attitude and mental balance in order to achieve mental fitness. If a person is mentally not happy the physical health of an individual deteriorates as well. Stress is the immediate cause of disease and dysfunction in today's day and age. Thus to be physically fit one needs to first focus on mind and then the body. For being physically fit it is not essential to spend hours in the gym daily or follow harsh diets. A person achieves physical fitness through correct breathing, sufficient hydration, good quality of food, movement through exercise or sport, correct sleep cycles, good posture and digestion. A balance in the above will result in a healthy body full of vitality and vigour. |
